Last month I had the opportunity to travel to Las Vegas for the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International Trade Show and Convention (WPPI for short). Along with attending classes held by some of my photography idols, I attended the massive trade show. There were hundreds of vendors there, some with amazing products, some with not so amazing products. My goal was to make sure that I am giving my clients the best of the best. I don’t settle for so-so products. I figure if you’re going to spend a good amount of money on custom photography you deserve the absolute best. So off I went! The most important product for me to see was albums. I’ve been using the same album vendor for about a year now and I love love love them but I wanted to know if there was something better out there. Guess what? There isn’t. I believe hands down these are the best albums for my clients. I even met the owner of the company and she was so nice to me, they take so much pride in their work which means a lot to me (she even knew who I was which blew me away!) There are definitely other beautiful albums out there and ones that would work well for weddings but I photograph babies, children and families and I want everyone to be able to look at their album. I don’t want Mom & Dad cringing when their child picks up the album afraid they’re going to rip a photo to pieces. Now I’m not saying you can toss the album around like a football but you could safely look at it and flip pages without worry. Below are some images of the latest album I’ve received. This is a 9×9 34 page album. I always design my albums very clean and contemporary with no trendy borders or design elements. I want you to love your album now AND in 10 years. Simple is best in my opinion and is the best way to show off your images. If you would like more information on my albums, drop me a line!
