Family Photography
Family sessions are candid, natural and relaxed. I want to photograph you and your children as you are. Taking time to watch your interactions, leaving you to play and laugh with each other helps me get those natural photos we love. Expect that the session will take 45 minutes to 1 hour. I try to capture both peaceful moments and the fun chaos. Upon booking we will work together to decide on the location and look of your photos!
Your session can take place at your home or an outdoor location we choose together.
Once your location is chosen I'll send you a style guide which will help you choose your outfits for the session. If you'd like to send me photos of what you're planning to wear by all means do, I'm here to help!
This is also when I want you to tell me exactly what you're looking for from our session. I'll send you a short questionnaire to fill out that will help get us both on the same page.
After all, these are YOUR photos and I want you to love them!
My editing style is simple. I want your photos to be timeless. Flawless skin, great light, vibrant colours.
You can expect to see all of your edited images two weeks after your session. They'll be presented to you in a custom made slideshow that you can share with friends and family as well as a password protected gallery from which you can order products.
Yes. ALL of the edited images files are included in your session fee!
The files can be downloaded immediately from your online gallery.

The second option is a Mini Maternity session. I hold these sessions typically every other month at a studio in downtown Calgary. These sessions only take place on specific dates. If you don't want to worry about the weather or having photos done in your home then you may like this option best.

If you already have children I always take several family photos along with maternity photos. I know when my family expanded from 3 to 4 to 5 it was really important to me to capture the kids and family before baby arrived.
This is such a special time in your life! Anticipating the arrival of a new member of your family is so exciting. Whether it's your first baby or your second or third, my goal is to capture the excitement, the love and the bump!

I have two options for Maternity sessions. The first option is a session outdoors or at your home. These sessions can be scheduled at your convenience and include 30 minutes of session time and 25-30 fully edited images. If you would like your pet included in your maternity photos this would be your best option.

Newborn Photography
Newborn sessions are simple, natural and relaxed. I want to photograph you and your baby as you are. Taking time to watch your interactions, leaving you to be with one another helps me get those natural photos we love. I try to capture a mix of candid and some posed images.
You can expect a variety of images from your session. Baby alone, lots of family and lots of sibling images (if there are siblings). I typically take photos in 2-3 rooms of the house - family room, master bedroom and nursery usually - and I don't bring any props. We use the outfits, wraps you have on hand. I use natural light only and the only equipment I bring is my camera, so don't worry about making room for me :). Sessions take about an hour depending on feedings. I never rush a session, you can take all the time you need to feed/cuddle while I'm there.
