One of the many things I love about my job is discovering new places in and around Calgary. My friend Brandi, the awesome talent behind Simply Connected Photography, wanted a winter session for her family and found the perfect place! She pictured hot cocoa and blankets and this location even provided the outdoor fireplaces, horses and AMAZING views of the mountains! We joked that it was custom made for a photo session. Below is a sneak peek from her session.

Next up was a session I got to do just a few blocks from my own house. This image immediately popped out at me. Mom had mentioned that Dad and daughter had a special bond and I love how this photo is just the two of them hanging out. I see big Dad protector with his little baby girl.

Moral of the story? Don’t discount winter sessions. We can do lots with little snow and sunshine 🙂
