I spent a beautiful Saturday morning with this gorgeous family. Prestyn (love this for a girl’s name!) played in the grass and trees and patiently let me take her photo, she was such a good girl.
Just a quick note to parents. I often get asked to ‘just take photos of the baby/child, none of me or very little’. While I completely understand this (I definitely have and keep way more photos of my son than me and my husband) I think we need to think of photos of ourselves as gifts to our children. When they’re older browsing through the old photos of them when they were younger they’re going to want to see photos of Mom & Dad. Seeing 100 photos of yourself might get a little boring after a while! This is why I encourage Mom & Dad to take some photos for themselves. I love love love the below photos of Mom & Dad. First because Mom is just strikingly beautiful and second because I love the closeness and intimacy the photos portray and I truly think when little Prestyn grows up she will treasure these photos of her Mom & Dad looking so in love.
