I am so happy to finally share this session on my blog! It’s been awhile since I took the photos – as you can probably tell by the beautiful autumn colours in some of the images – but this session was special. I did Mom’s maternity photos and Ily’s newborn photos and I loved coming back to Canmore to see how she’s grown! This was a windy day, seriously windy. So windy in fact, Ily was literally getting blown down in our first location. She was a trooper though and stuck it out for awhile but then we decided to head back to their house to finish the session. Red cheeks, runny noses and chapped lips aren’t always the best ‘look’ for photos ;). The bond between these two blows me away. Their mutual affection towards each other is awesome. The photo of them walking towards the mountain is my personal favourite…seems to represent the new life they’re embarking on together perfectly.
