I have had the pleasure of photographing this family four times now! I have photographed big sister Finley twice and did their family maternity photos as well. I was honoured to be asked to capture their newest addition Penelope. I think the last photo is one of my all time favourite family photos. Even though only Penelope’s face is showing, I love that you can still feel the connection and closeness between the family. Would a traditional photo of everyone sitting and smiling at the camera evoke the same feeling of intimacy? I can’t say for sure but I can say I love the feeling this photo brings to me.
