This post is very special to me because it’s my family! I decided months ago that I wanted Tasha from Tasha Jean Photography to do our family photos. She’s located in Kelowna so we thought why not plan our vacation around the photo session, we’ll go to BC have some fun and end with family photos. I am so so SO glad we chose to do this. As my husband said, it was the highlight of his trip and I couldn’t agree more. We decided we wanted to do the photos at a winery. My husband loves making and drinking wine and I couldn’t think of a more beautiful setting. Tasha found Arrowleaf Cellars in Lake Country and it was gorgeous! We spent two hours roaming the vineyard, eating peaches and having fun. Near the end of the session we found this big stone sign that said ‘It’s a beautiful day’ – literally just sitting on the side of a garage – that summed up our day to perfection.






















You may or may not have noticed my little belly in these photos – I’m excited to announce I’m pregnant! My due date is March 7, 2011. What does this mean for Sweet Ginger Photography? I will be working my normal amount of sessions per week (2-3) up until the end of the year at which time I’ll slow down to 1 a week in January and then take time off beginning in February. If you are pregnant and due January 31st or earlier I would still love to take your maternity and newborn photos.
