I met this family last November for their newborn session. It was that REALLY windy day in Calgary. So windy in fact that when I left their house I heard on the radio that officials had shut down the downtown core – they lived in the downtown core…I just escaped! 🙂 Despite the weather, we had a great session. I even got some great smiles from baby. The one of Mom and baby at the end with baby smiling? Ahh, I wish I could plan those shots but the best part about photographing newborns is the spontaneity – you never know what you’re going to get but somehow a gem always sneaks through.
