Gift prints, what are they? I get asked this a lot. I think it’s the word ‘gift’ that throws people off. Well I’m here to tell you that really has no meaning to the product. You can gift it or keep it for yourself, doesn’t matter. What does separate these prints from my other prints is that number one, they are all priced the same. So whether you purchase a 5×5 or an 8×10, it is the same price. Also these prints are matted. What does this mean? As you’ll see below they’re not just a loose print, they have a white mat on the front and a solid white backing. Often times the mats you get with a store bought frame are very thin and look, frankly, cheap. These mats are nice and thick and are a good bright white rather than the cream colour you might get in a store bought frame.

The photos above are a 5×5 but with the mat are 8×8. As you can imagine, if you purchased 9 of these gift prints, even though they’re 5×5, once you add the mat and the frame and space them out 4 inches, that’s a beautiful 3.5′ x 3.5′ gallery for your wall. So even though we’re usually told going big is better – going small can totally work as long as you have several. Two of these would look insignificant on your wall. Nine makes a statement and allows you to showcase many of your favourites and helps tell the story of your session.
