Love having this girl living right behind me. It’s so comforting to know at any time I can call her day or night if something’s up. We have each other’s backs. Looking out for each other. Whether it’s forgetting to close our garage doors, calling out a guy peeing on the other’s house (yes this happened!), borrowing this that or the other. We’ll share a glass of wine (non-alcoholic for her right now, boo). Never planned. Just a quick text that we need a break, a drink and a chat. I’ve found a real friend in my neighbour and I’m so glad we made the effort to get to know each other. There’s something very different and special about a neighbour friend. It brings such a comfort when you know you’re safe at home and people are looking out for you.
