When it comes to Fall photos what I love the most is the clothes! Fall means layering clothes without the bulk of a winter jacket. Fall means rich, bright colours that accentuate the colours around us. And Fall means hats!
I’ve put together a series of outfit ideas for Toddler Boys, Toddler Girls, Baby Boys and Baby Girls. You’ll see below each outfit exactly where the items came from. I only chose clothes from The Gap and H&M. Why? Well, this is where I shop when I buy clothes for my boys for photo sessions. It’s local – you don’t have to order it online. If you like what you see you can run over to the mall and get it – easy peasy.
Today’s post is Toddler Boys. Blue, red, orange, yellow, navy, green, brown – all great colours to put your 3 year old in. Layer it up! Don’t just wear one shirt. Layering helps to add dimension to the outfit which helps to add dimension to the photo. Pop in some colour and add a hat (if they’ll keep it on!) and you have an outfit that will ADD to your photos.
So whether you’re doing a Fall photo session with me or just taking the kids out yourself for a few pics, think a little bit about their clothing to make your photos go from nice to awesome!
