It’s kind of embarrassing to admit that I’ve never been to Spruce Meadows before. I’ve lived in Calgary for close to 18 years and it’s always been on my list of places to get to but up until now I’ve never gone. Well the couple I photographed last night actually had their wedding reception at Spruce Meadows and wanted to do their maternity photos there as well. What a place! The grounds are beautiful, the night was warm, and some Jack Johnson, French jazz was being played through the loudspeakers – and there was no one there! It was so relaxing. I will definitely be back with my family to watch an event. Below is a peek at our session on the grounds!
