Think Pink Photography was founded in October 2007 to support individuals and their families who have been touched by breast cancer. They are a charitable organization that serves two main purposes – celebrating life and supporting the cause.
I have been looking for a charitable organization I could partner with and none resonated more with me than this one. My Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was six months pregnant with my son. I know the incredible stress this puts on a family. Going back and forth from the hospital, reading the mountain of pamphlets, the surgeries, the recovery and most of all the fear of the unknown. My Mom is still with us and has been cancer free for about 2 years. I want to help those families who are dealing with this disease. Through their professional photographer network, Think Pink helps breast cancer patients to celebrate life with charitable photography sessions. Individuals may choose to document their fight against the disease before or during treatment, or they may prefer to capture their victory by scheduling a session within 12 months after treatment is completed. There is no cost or obligation to the breast cancer patient. Clients participating in a Think Pink Session will receive a complimentary 1 hour photo session from Sweet Ginger Photography, the full resolution digital negatives (approximately 25 images) as well as a set of 10 5×7 prints from the session (a $1700 value). They will also receive a 20 percent discount on any additional a la carte prints or products they wish to purchase, although there is absolutely no purchase required at any time.
I am donating 4 Think Pink Photography sessions this year. My first session will be held in February. If you or someone you know is battling breast cancer (or is within 12 months after treatment) please email me at info@sweetgingerphotography.com. A random draw will be held February 12th and the recipient will be notified that day.
– The recipient must live in Calgary or be able to travel to Calgary.
– The session is for up to five individuals of the same immediate family.
– Recipient cannot redeem gift for cash value.
Thank You – Virginia

Hello and what a great idea and gift you are giving to us all. I have just finished my cancer therapy and am looking forward to moving forward now. I have thought a lot about having photos done once my hair is back and I am so glad that you are a breast cancer supporter as I would love to have a family photo taken so I now know who to call.
Thanks for joining hands with us and making a difference!
